Goa nightclub owners offer ₹15 lakh ex gratia to kin of people killed in fire; HC seeks reply
Goa’s High Court division bench heard that Saurav and Gaurav Luthra, owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub where a fire killed 25 people, have offered an ex‑gratia payment of ₹15 lakh to each victim’s family. The court will decide if the payment can be approved, after seeking a reply from the state.
