Overseas sericulture trainees vow to promote silk industry in their countries
Participants from several foreign nations completed a sericulture training program in India and pledged to apply the techniques learned to boost silk production in their home countries. The course, organized by Indian authorities, covered mulberry cultivation, silkworm rearing and cocoon processing. Trainees said the knowledge will help create jobs and expand the global silk market.
