Air India sacks Delhi-Phuket flight pilot who tested positive for drugs
Air India has terminated the employment of a pilot who flew the Delhi‑Phuket route after an Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau report identified drug use as a serious issue. The report urged the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to take appropriate action. The pilot, who served as the aircraft’s commander, had tested positive for drugs during routine checks.
