SEBI levies ₹20 lakh fine on Shares Bazaar, four others for violating market norms
India’s securities regulator SEBI has imposed a 20 lakh rupee penalty on Shares Bazaar and three related entities for breaching market regulations. The regulator said the firm promoted a scheme titled “Making Millions Financially Free,” which guaranteed investors returns of 18‑48% per year and falsely suggested the funds were being placed in the securities market as legitimate investment opportunities.
