Suvendu announces ₹1,200 crore allocation for Ghatal Master Plan to mitigate floods
Union Minister Suvendu Adhikari said the government will allocate 1,200 crore rupees for a master plan in Ghatal aimed at reducing flood risk. The central government will contribute half of the amount, while the state will fund the balance. Additional financing is expected from the Disaster Management Department to purchase land required for the project in the near term.
