APSPDCL first discom in Andhra to cross one lakh rooftop solar connections, all for SC and ST homes
APSPDCL became the first distribution company in Andhra Pradesh to exceed 100,000 rooftop solar connections, targeting exclusively Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe households. The utility added 210 MW of capacity through a Utility‑Led Aggregation scheme, moving the state to fourth place nationally for solar installations. It plans to serve 207,000 homes across nine districts by the end of the year.
