Centre agrees to procure sunflower, green gram, and soyabean crops at MSP in Karnataka
India's central government has accepted Karnataka's request to purchase specific kharif 2026‑27 crops at the minimum support price. The agreement covers 13,413 metric tonnes of sunflower, 38,250 tonnes of green gram and 115,500 tonnes of soybean. The procurement aims to stabilize farmer incomes and manage market supply. It forms part of the national MSP framework.
