Onions at ₹35 a kg at Vijayawada’s Rythu Bazars from September 30, 2 kg a family a month
From September 30, onions will be sold at ₹35 per kilogram at Vijayawada’s Rythu Bazaar, with each household allotted two kilograms per month. Purchasers must present an Aadhaar or ration card to qualify. The program is being trialed in Vijayawada and could be rolled out to additional Rythu Bazars across the state if the response is positive.
