New pedestrian subway on Chennai - Bengaluru Highway in Vellore will be ready by October, says NHAI
India’s National Highways Authority of India announced that a pedestrian underpass on the Chennai‑Bengaluru Highway in Vellore is slated for completion by October. The structure will replace a current detour of roughly one kilometre, easing access for both safely vehicles and walkers traveling between Old Town, Katpadi and the opposite side of the Palar River.
