H.D. Kumaraswamy accuses D.K. Shivakumar and his family members of illegally acquiring land parcels around Bengaluru notified for BMIC project
Former Karnataka chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has accused D.K. Shivakumar and his relatives of illegally acquiring land near Bengaluru that is earmarked for the Bengaluru Metropolitan Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project. Kumaraswamy says the transfers violate regulations and could derail the development plan. He has urged the state government to investigate, while Shivakumar has not yet responded publicly.
