Lalbagh to get 2.5 acre garden inspired by Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay
Bangalore’s Lalbagh Botanical Garden will expand with a 2.5‑acre section modeled after Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay. The new area will feature climate‑controlled glasshouses, a waterfall, and a series of themed gardens showcasing tropical and temperate plants. The project aims to boost tourism and provide a modern horticultural experience while preserving the historic park’s heritage and will include interactive educational displays for visitors of all ages.
