Three arrested with 2 assault rifles, 10 kg heroin in Punjab’s Amritsar
Three men were arrested in Amritsar, Punjab, after police seized two assault rifles and 10 kilograms of heroin. Authorities say the suspects were connected to foreign-based smuggling networks and were preparing to distribute the weapons and drugs within the state. The investigation was led by Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav. The arrests were part of a crackdown on illicit arms trafficking in the region.
