Supreme Court seeks Registry note on why CAPF officers’ case was struck off Tuesday’s cause list despite judicial order
The Supreme Court asked its registry to explain why a case involving retired Central Armed Police Force officers was removed from Tuesday’s cause list, even though a court order exists. The officers have filed a contempt petition, alleging that the government has not fully carried out a May 2025 ruling that limits the appointment of Indian Police Service officers to senior CAPF positions.
