IoT devices to be installed in 6,000 more BWSSB borewells by March, 2027
Banglore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) will fit Internet‑of‑Things sensors in an additional 6,000 borewells by March 2027. The rollout aims to monitor water levels and usage in real time, helping to curb losses and improve distribution. The initiative expands the board’s earlier smart‑borewell program as part of its digital‑water management strategy. Data will be sent to a central control room for analysis and maintenance.
