Delhi Cut Electricity Loss from 50 to 5 Percent
Delhi's power utility announced that it has reduced transmission and distribution losses from roughly half of the electricity supplied to just five percent. The improvement follows the deployment of advanced metering infrastructure, real‑time monitoring and data analytics across the grid. Officials said the measures also enhance billing accuracy, lower costs for consumers and improve overall system reliability.
