Veli-Kadinamkulam solar boat service to begin from September 30
Kerala's tourism department will launch a solar‑powered boat service on September 30, linking Veli Tourism Village with the Kadinamkulam backwaters. The four‑hour circuit departs from Veli's boat jetty, traverses the backwater network, and returns to the same point. It will operate daily, showcasing mangrove‑lined canals and villages, promoting eco‑friendly travel and local tourism.
