Keralam to double compensation for wildlife attack deaths, crop loss
Kerala's government announced it will double the compensation paid to families of people killed in wildlife attacks and to farmers for crop damage. Minister Shibu Baby John said the issue will be tackled through joint efforts of the Forest, Agriculture and Revenue departments rather than being the sole responsibility of the forest agency or any other state authority.
