Keralam local body bypolls: Congress-led UDF suffers setback as Opposition LDF wrests seven wards
In Kerala’s recent local body by‑elections, the opposition Left Democratic Front (LDF) captured seven additional wards, narrowing the gap with the ruling Congress‑led United Democratic Front (UDF). Out of 38 contested wards, the UDF secured 19 seats while the LDF won 18, and the Twenty20 party claimed victory in Poothrikka.
