U.S. waives tariffs on certain speciality drugs from 20 countries, including India
Washington announced that it will eliminate import tariffs on a range of specialty medicines from 20 nations, among them India. The tariff exemption covers drugs used to treat rare conditions, infertility, cell and gene therapies, antibody‑drug conjugates, as well as veterinary medicines. Parts and components of these products will also enter the United States duty‑free.
