Develop North Karnataka cities as alternative growth centres to Bengaluru: KCCI
The Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has called on the state government to prioritize the development of Hubballi‑Dharwad, Belagavi, Haveri, and Gadag as alternative growth hubs to Bengaluru. The proposal includes building integrated industrial, commercial, educational, healthcare, IT, transport, and logistics infrastructure to boost regional economies. The KCCI highlighted that development would create jobs, reduce migration to the capital.
