AAP donations plunge in 2025-26; company of MP who later joined BJP, Ashutosh Ranka among donors
According to a filing reviewed by The Hindu, the Aam Aadmi Party’s contributions fell sharply in the 2025‑26 financial year, the first full year after it lost Delhi’s administration in February 2025. The party remains in power in Punjab, where the Trident group is located. The report lists 1,202 individual donor entries, including a company linked to MP Ashutosh Ranka, who later joined the BJP.
