Nvidia wants to put a watchdog chip next to every AI agent
Nvidia announced plans to develop a dedicated watchdog chip designed to sit alongside each artificial‑intelligence model. The hardware would monitor an agent’s operations in real time, detecting anomalies, enforcing limits and providing a safety layer against unintended behavior. The company says the chip could be integrated into data‑center servers, aiming to improve reliability as AI workloads expand.
