Foie gras, live dolphins and toasters: China and US cut reciprocal tariffs on $30bn of goods
China and the United States announced reciprocal tariff reductions covering about $30 billion in trade, removing duties on items such as foie gras, live dolphins and household toasters. The move, detailed in lists released by both governments, marks a step back from the earlier trade conflict. Strategic products, including advanced technology and defense items, remain exempt from the cuts.
