Two held with 11 red sanders logs near Seethampeta in Kadapa district
Police in Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa district arrested two individuals after discovering eleven logs of protected red sandalwood near Seethampeta. During the operation, authorities also confiscated a four‑wheel vehicle and three mobile phones in the forest close to Veeraballi. Officials urged locals to alert law enforcement of any suspicious activity within forested zones to curb illegal timber trade.
