Madras High Court refuses to review its order on micro/nano plastics warning labels on bottled water, sugar, and salt
The Madras High Court declined a petition by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India to revisit its directive that bottled water, sugar and salt carry micro‑nano plastic warning labels. The bench, led by Justices N. Sathish Kumar and D. Bharatha Chakravarthy, dismissed the review, leaving the labeling rule in force and will remain applicable to manufacturers.
