Amit Shah flags off India's first LNG train; claims ‘Modi transformed railways, Congress known for scams’
Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the country's first liquefied natural gas (LNG) train, saying the move marks a shift toward cleaner fuel for Indian Railways. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for modernising the network and criticised the opposition for past corruption. Shah noted that railway diesel consumption fell from 293 crore litres in 2015‑16 and is targeted to reach zero by 2030.
