Keralam cultural icon Jayapala Menon passes away
Jayapala Menon, a prominent figure in Kerala’s cultural scene, died recently. He was among the pioneers of the state’s film‑society movement and served as director of Janashakthi Films, influencing regional cinema and cultural activities. He also mentored many young filmmakers and organized screenings that broadened public access to world cinema.
