Former U.P. Minister Ram Govind Chaudhary cremated in Ballia with State honours
Ram Govind Chaudhary, a senior Samajwadi Party leader who served eight terms as a legislator and previously headed the opposition in Uttar Pradesh's assembly, passed away on September 25 while receiving medical care in Lucknow. His body was taken to Ballia, where he was cremated with official state honors. He had earlier been a state minister, with many officials present.
