India, Canada preparing to take ties to 'higher level': Jaishankar
India’s foreign minister S. Jaishankar said that India and Canada are working to raise their bilateral relationship to a higher level. He made the remarks while also meeting Venezuela’s foreign minister Felix Plasencia González on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. The discussions included India’s efforts to diversify its energy supplies in the context of global energy security challenges.
