Forest fire in Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve doused after three days
After three days of burning, a forest fire in Tamil Nadu's Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve was extinguished. Firefighters used water drops and ground crews to contain the blaze, which had spread rapidly due to abundant dry broom, lemon grass, strong winds and soaring temperatures. No major wildlife casualties were reported, and the area is now under monitoring for regeneration.
