CJP’s Ashutosh Ranka, his team detained in Guwahati
Ashutosh Ranka, a leader of the CJP, and several team members were taken into custody by police in Guwahati, Assam. Ranka claimed the detention was linked to his criticism of state education, saying Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma fears that exposing school conditions would attract national scrutiny.
