Braving rain and waterlogging, M.P. dam project oustees protest for 16th day
Residents opposing a dam project in Madhya Pradesh have continued their protest into a 16th day, despite heavy rain and waterlogged conditions. They report that floodwaters have entered several village homes, reaching two to three feet and ruining stored grain, clothing and other belongings. The demonstrators say the inundation worsens the hardship caused by the construction.
