YouTuber behind Kolkata restaurant beef row, influencers, RJ and actors funded by BJP during Bengal polls
During the West Bengal election campaign, a YouTuber linked to a Kolkata restaurant beef controversy, along with several influencers, radio jockeys and actors, received payments from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Trinamool Congress MLA Kunal Ghosh alleged the funds were used to create a narrative of religious polarisation. BJP state spokesperson Debjit Sarkar said the payments complied with legal norms.
