NHAI terminates contract of Arakkonam-Kancheepuram builder of Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway
India’s National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has cancelled the contract of the firm responsible for the Arakkonam‑Kancheepuram stretch of the Bengaluru‑Chennai Expressway. The agency announced fresh EPC tenders to complete the pending work, estimating a cost of roughly ₹633.12 crore and a deadline of 18 months for completion. The move aims to keep the project on schedule and avoid further delays.
