Chennai Corporation plans ₹98.25-cr. overhaul of command centre
Chennai’s municipal corporation has approved a ₹98.25 crore project to revamp its command centre. Over the next five years, the Greater Chennai Corporation will integrate additional CCTV cameras, flood‑level sensors, rain gauges and pump‑monitoring devices into a unified monitoring hub. The plan also includes establishing three regional integrated command and control centres to enhance city‑wide oversight.
