IIT-Madras deep tech fund achieves ₹450 crore first close
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has completed the first closing of its deep‑technology venture fund, raising roughly ₹450 crore. Investors include a group of prominent IIT‑Madras alumni such as Infosys co‑founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, several family offices, as well as corporate entities, banks and other institutions. The fund aims to nurture innovation across various sectors.
