Discarded flowers from Ganesh immersions find second life in Cyberabad
After the Ganesh immersion ceremonies, leftover flower offerings are being collected in Hyderabad’s Cyberabad region and transformed into useful products. Local NGOs and municipal bodies sort the blooms, dry them and convert them into compost, organic fertilizers and biodegradable items, reducing waste and supporting urban agriculture. The initiative aims to promote sustainable disposal of festival debris.
