Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu orders urgent relief measures in flood-hit areas
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed state officials to accelerate relief efforts in regions affected by recent floods. The orders include fast‑tracking electricity restoration, providing each fisher‑family with a 50‑kilogram rice allotment, and developing plans for two new barrages—one upstream and one downstream of the existing Prakasam Barrage—to capture floodwater. The measures aim to support recovery and prevent further damage.
