Mamata alleges ‘house arrest’ of party leaders, says BJP workers block route to TMC's rally
West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said several Trinamool Congress leaders are being placed under house arrest and that BJP activists blocked a rally route. She cited an incident where TMC MLA Kunal Ghosh’s car was surrounded by a crowd carrying black flags in Uttarpara, Hooghly district, as he headed to a meeting in Serampore, party sources said.
