New leadership for Keralam’s cultural institutions after four-month vacuum
After a four‑month hiatus, Kerala’s three major state cultural bodies have appointed new heads. Writer Kalpetta Narayanan will serve as chair of the Sahitya Akademi, singer G. Venugopal has been named head of the Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, and production designer Professor Prakash Moorthy will lead the Lalithakala Akademi. The appointments aim to restore governance to the institutions.
