Meghalaya delegation identifies three World War 1 graves of Garo men in Malta
Officials from Meghalaya have confirmed the discovery of three World War I graves belonging to Garo soldiers of the 69th Garo Labour Company in Malta. Until now, only the 1918 grave of Khew Marak was recognized as a Garo burial. The delegation used archival data to confirm identities, highlighting Indian contributions in the war.
