Dhiraj sets Asian Games record, tops recurve qualification; India finish second in team events
Indian archer Dhiraj Bommadevara, ranked fourth globally, broke the Asian Games record in the recurve qualification round, posting a combined score of 698 out of 720. He led the field after a strong second half, scoring 348 on his first 36 arrows and 350 on the next. In the team competition, India secured the silver medal.
