Belagavi residents appeal to Cantonment Board not to bar locals from roads in camp area
Residents of Belagavi have written to the Cantonment Board urging it not to restrict civilian access to roads within the military camp area. They object to plans that would hand over Albert Ekka Road, Smart Road and Queen’s Garden Road to the army, and to proposals for tall barricades on Independence Road and Gymkhana Road, fearing disruption to local traffic.
