Telangana SIR: Over 60% SIR notices issued in Hyderabad periphery, below 35% in Hyderabad district
According to a report in The Hindu, more than 60% of SIR notices in Telangana were issued in the Hyderabad periphery, while less than 35% originated within the Hyderabad district itself. The most common reason cited was “Unmapped with Last SIR,” accounting for roughly 35% of all notices. The findings suggest a need for improved land record integration across the region.
