IMD issues heavy rain alert for September 26–27 in Uttarakhand; CM Dhami directs officials to maintain vigilance
India's meteorological agency has issued a heavy rain warning for Uttarakhand in the region on September 26 and 27. State chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed local officials to stay alert and urged residents and visitors to be extremely cautious. He advised travel only when necessary and after confirming current weather updates and road conditions to ensure safety.
