SPPU students suspend mess fee protest after V-C assurance; decision on hike on Sept 26
Students at Shivaji Pratibha Pratishthan University halted a planned protest against a proposed mess fee increase after Vice‑Chancellor S. K. S. assured them that a circular would be issued. The university will decide on the hike on September 26. If the circular is not released, the Student Federation of India says the march will proceed at 4 p.m.
