An airport cooled by natural ventilation
A new airport design in the Netherlands uses natural ventilation to keep terminal temperatures comfortable, eliminating the need for large HVAC systems. Engineers installed a series of vents and wind tunnels that draw in cool air from the surrounding landscape, while heat‑producing equipment is positioned to minimize heat buildup.
