E20 fuel increases mileage, helps farmers, and will not harm vehicles, says Gadkari
Indian transport minister Piyush Gadkari said the new E20 fuel, which mixes 20% ethanol with petrol, will boost mileage, support farmers, and not harm vehicles. He added that automakers will produce flex‑fuel cars that can run on 100% ethanol, cutting the need for imported petrol and diesel worth ₹22 lakh crore and reducing pollution and improving overall fuel efficiency.
