Over 41 deaths in 19 months: Reason behind banning two-wheelers on E-City and KIA Road elevated corridors

Following more than 41 fatalities over the past 19 months, Bangalore traffic police have ordered two-wheelers to be prohibited on two elevated corridors. The Electronics City flyover will bar two-wheelers starting September 11, while the KIA Road flyover between Sanjeevininagar Cross and Vidyashilpa Junction will enforce restrictions from September 4. Overall, the aim is to improve safety.
