Veeramani case: DMK files ₹1-cr. defamation suit against Ministers Aadhav Arjuna, Nirmal Kumar before Madras High Court
The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has lodged a defamation complaint worth one crore rupees against ministers Aadhav Arjuna and Nirmal Kumar in the Madras High Court. The case stems from the Veeramani matter involving alleged sexual exploitation of a minor. Justice K. Govindarajan Thilakavadi urged all sides to avoid politicising the sensitive issue at this stage.
